Supporting comprehensive K-4 environmental education in Demarest schools, summer nature camps, family programs, and adult workshops. We provide curriculum materials, equipment, and expert instruction to thousands of participants each year.
Trail Maintenance & Improvement
Maintaining over 2 miles of trails, building and repairing bridges, installing benches and interpretive signs, and ensuring safe access for all visitors to explore our preserve.
Conservation & Habitat Management
Protecting native plant communities, removing invasive species, monitoring wildlife populations, and maintaining healthy ecosystems that support biodiversity.
Community Events
Hosting maple syrup making demonstrations, bird watching expeditions, nature photography workshops, children's scavenger hunts, and our annual Oktoberfest Craft Show.
Scholarship Program
Providing annual scholarships to high school seniors pursuing studies in environmental science, ecology, and conservation, supporting the next generation of environmental leaders.
Equipment & Supplies
Purchasing educational materials, trail maintenance tools, safety equipment, field guides, binoculars, and supplies needed for programs and preserve management.
